another beginner post

I really like spicy food and want to start growing my own hot peppers. I've planted the seed in the seedling pots, I think it's a success cause they're starting to sprout
is it safe now to move them to 3 inch pots or cups? need the pro's advice about this, thanks!

I went through the same thing when I first tried growing jalapeños on my balcony. Once the seedlings had a couple of true leaves, not just the first tiny ones, I moved them into 3‑inch cups and they handled it fine. Just be gentle with the roots and water them right after transplanting.
