Backyard Olympics!

I just remembered some of the games I used to play. My cousins and I turned the backyard into our own Olympic stadium.

We had “long jump” over the sprinkler hose, “shot put” with water balloons, and “relay races” with popsicles! Did anyone else make up their own games as a kid?

We played “lava tag” where the grass was safe but the patio was “lava.” Good times!

We definitely made up our own “sports.” Our big one was bike rodeo courses with cones made from upside‑down sand buckets.
