Chocolate Habaneros pretty but mild?

Hey, I got some chocolate Habanero seedlings for hot sauce experiments from a local shop. They grew great, dark and shiny. But, surprisingly, they're not that hot, only around 120,000 SHU. Has anyone else found these peppers to be mild? I'm curious if it's just my batch or if they're usually this way. Any tips on making them hotter or ideas on how to best use them?

Nice score on the chocolate habaneros! Some batches can run mild depending on soil, sun, and stress levels. Try letting them ripen longer or reduce watering a bit to boost heat.

You could put some ghost peppers or reapers. You can also add pure capsaicin extract to really kick it up while still keeping that chocolate habanero flavor.

To boost heat, make sure they get plenty of sunlight, consistent warmth, and a bit of stress like slightly drier soil between waterings
