@Alan Aw dang looks like I wasn't quite the first brave soul after all, gotta be quicker on the draw next time! Still stoked to be here with fellow chiliheads though. And no, haven't tried making my own fermented sauce yet, is it a whole complicated shebang? @Margarita Saldana

I've not fermented any, I'm use to the hot peppers in vinegar to be used as a sauce on greens of various types.

That vinegar-soaked heat on greens is a classic! Fermenting gives peppers a deeper tang, but that sharp vinegar kick has its own charm.
