Looking for comprehensive pepper database

Hey there! I'm a huge hot pepper enthusiast and I'm on the hunt for a comprehensive database of pepper varieties. I've looked at several sites, but most of them feel incomplete. They might have a lot of great info on individual plants, photos, and growing tips, but none of them seem to have a truly exhaustive list of varieties. I understand it's tough to keep track of all the cultivars out there, especially with new ones constantly being created.

I'm specifically looking for something that focuses on the essentials like a pepper's main name, any alternate names or collection numbers (like a CGN number), basic pod info (color, shape, and size), and maybe some genetic info like known parentage. This kind of streamlined database would be incredibly useful for quickly identifying and researching peppers.

I'd be grateful if anyone knows of a resource like this. Thanks in advance!

This is a decent start, but if you want more depth you might also cross‑reference with the USDA Germplasm Resources Information Network (GRIN) since it lists scientific names, accession data, and origin details that hobbyist sites sometimes miss. Have you already tried combining grower‑focused databases with academic sources, or are you mainly looking for one place that's easy to browse?
