Are people still worried about PCFVd and PSTVd affecting peppers and potatoes in the US?

Some growers still keep an eye on them, mostly as a precaution. In most areas, outbreaks are rare, but monitoring and clean stock are still important

PCFVd and PSTVd are still on USDA's regulated list and while outbreaks in the US have been limited, both can spread through contaminated seed or mechanical handling. For that reason, clean propagation material and good sanitation are still the main defenses for growers.
