Scoville scale list question

Hey everyone! Not sure if this has been asked but I’m just starting to cook with chili peppers and keep hearing about the Scoville scale. I get that it measures heat, but I’m confused about how jalapeños compare to habaneros. Is there a simple list or chart that shows the common peppers in order? Appreciate any suggestions or answers!

Jalapeños are the “entry-level” heat. Like, enough to wake up your taste buds. Habaneros, though, are in the six‑figure Scoville range, so they’re more like a dare than a snack.

If you’re mapping it out: jalapeños are mild‑medium, serranos are hotter, cayenne hotter still, and habaneros are where things get serious. Ghost peppers and Carolina Reapers are the “boss level.”
