Seed soak mix H2O2 ratio help

I'm attempting to soak some vegetable seeds with a 2.5% hydrogen peroxide solution. I have a 100ml bottle of 9-volume H2O2. Can anyone tell me how much I should mix in per pint of water? I'm not great with math, so any assistance would be appreciated

hi @habanerohacker it's actually easier than you think! Since a pint is roughly 473 ml, and your concentration is 2.7%, you're already at your target.
But for the sake of the math, if you had a standard 3% bottle, you'd just use a simple ratio. For a 2.5% solution, you'd need about 395ml of 3% peroxide and 78ml of water.
But since you already have 2.7%, just use it as is! It's close enough that it won't affect the seeds

Roughly a 1:3 ratio of your 9 volume peroxide to water to land near 2.5%, pint of water, that’s about 150 ml of the peroxide mixed in. It doesn’t have to be exact, stir it well before soaking

Thanks for breaking that down! I’m using 3% peroxide but wasn’t so sure. Do you rinse the seeds after soaking or just plant them straight? And how long do you usually soak for?
