Storing my seeds

I'm just getting into this hobby, and I'm wondering how to keep my seeds in good shape. How do you store/sort out your seeds?

pepper seeds only last a couple of years unless stored rock-solid dry and cool. Use airtight containers, toss in silica gel to kill moisture, and don't let humidity or heat sneak in... or you'll get mold or early germination. If you see a few sprouting when you dig them out, that's toast.

Before planting those old seeds, try a paper towel test to see if they'll sprout. Don't open all the seed packets at once, just save some for later. Each year, check your seed stash and use the oldest ones first.
