My neighbor gave me some homemade sauce, and the flavor was incredible! I'm trying to grow my own now. Does anyone know where I can get seeds or have any tips for growing them?

honestly, finding the exact St. Lucia yellow scotch bonnet variety can be tricky, as there's a lot of cross pollination.
the best thing you can do is to check out some online specialty pepper seed vendors that focus on rare or heirloom varieties.
They'll often have a good selection and can verify the strain

oh, your naighbor sounds awesome. Since the seeds are tricky to source, my best advice is to treat whatever scotch bonnet seeds you get like royalty, they love lots of sun, hot weather, and a good long growing season.
Start those seeds early indoors! If you can get your neighbor to give you just one ripe pepper, you can save the seeds yourself!

to grow a yellow scotch bonnet, one tip from me, is to avoid mid day sun for the first week of hardening off. Morning or evening sunlight is less intense and will help adjust the plants more gradually
