Since I'm no from Texas, I cannot recommend any local places, but I can tell you that you can find scotch bonnets on Amazon. I ordered them a couple of years ago

Have you checked local Texas nurseries or online specialty seed suppliers like Baker Creek for Scotch bonnet seeds yet? What kind of growing conditions does your mom's garden have?

None I know about at least in the greater Houston area. I have to go online for seeds.

That's great to hear your mom is getting interested in Scotch Bonnets! I recommend looking at Texas Hot Peppers or Gardens of the Ancients. They're both Texas-based and have some really good heirloom varieties.

Haha, my aunt started growing hot peppers after a trip to San Antonio. She must have found a lot of varieties there. Her first scotch bonnet went wild, and now she's totally into it.
